Author Spotlight: Rosemary Nwaosuagwu

I bumped into your book “Lily’s Favorite Color” and the post said “child author.  How amazing is that! Your daughter wrote her first book! What made this beautiful young lady decide to become an author at such a young age? What’s her name?

Rosemary Nwaosuagwu is a 7 year old author who desires to inspire children all over the world. When she wrote Lily’s Favorite Color at 6 years old, she already had major plans of writing many more books that will continue to educate, inspire, and bring joy to children everywhere! Lily’s Favorite Color was designed to help children learn their basic colors.

How does your daughter like being a published author?

Rosemary loves being a published author. She loves to write and is very creative in doing so. As a published author at such a young age, Rosemary sees being a published author as a huge accomplishment and a way for other children as herself, to be motivated, to follow their dreams and know that if they set their mind to it, they can achieve anything.

Mom I’m sure you were a huge help in making all of this possible. What advise do you have to share with other moms who may be interested in helping their daughters publish stories?

As Rosemary’s mother, I would share with other mom’s who may be interested in helping their daughters publish stories: Aways support their daughters and children. When their daughter’s / children have an idea, motivated them to see it through. The sky is not the limit. As parents we have to motivate our children and support them. They are our future and ensuring their success is what we should aim at doing. I would also share with other moms to tell their daughter’s/children to never give up on their dreams. To keep trying and do their best. It may be a lot of trials and errors to see what may work and what does not when it comes to writing, but time and effort is key.  Research is also key.

Can we expect more books in the future?

Yes you can definitely expect more books from Rosemary in the future. She is a young entrepreneur and has many more books and ideas in the works. Stay tuned.
